The videos feature actors. Each group agenda includes several video dramatizations, depicting the experiences of a fictional treatment group.
The videos are used to:
portray the struggles and successes of clients in early recovery
help stimulate discussion among eGetgoing group members
illustrate important points
help group members focus on the issues discussed in that session.
Though fictional, the video dramatizations are loosely based on the experiences of actual clients that participated in the eGetgoing program. Our fictional group members include Diane, Brian, John, Maria, Tony, Linda and the counselor -- Ben.
